Kai-Robot has light, infrared, touch, sound and LED sensors.

Light(CdS) Sensor

Sound (Clapping) Sensor

IR(Infrared) Sensor

LED (Light Emitting Diode)

Touch (Contact) Sensor

Light(CdS) Sensor Basic Theory

In Kai-Robot the light sensor is used to measure surroundings brightness using Cadium Sulphide.
When it is connected to KRC (Kai-Robot Communicator) and KRC is on, one can check the light sensor input values on LCD panel using the 'select' button. Sensor input can have values between 0-255 and it has a value of 255 when no sensor is connected.
Sound Sensor has an electric microphone on it. It registers when a clapping is eard. It only knows the time when clapping is heard and one can make a program to do necessary tasks if the clapping is registered.
